This is for Illustration Friday, and I’m sure I will break this resolution as early as tomorrow, but it’s worth a shot. Speaking of New Years, did anyone else forget to pay their rent? Oops.
I need to start making these pictures smaller…I just noticed they are getting squished a bit. Very slimming though.
OLD NEWS below.

Holy Smokes! It’s been quite a while, and for that I apologize. I had a show opening at the Ragtag Theater in Columbia, MO last week. It was a lot of fun, especially since it meant the end of a very long month of printing. New work though! Much of which is on here now, a few I’m saving for later.

There is a bunch of stuff at my Etsy store now, check it out http://neversleeping.etsy.com. This will be the place to buy things, as I canceled my Big Cartel membership. I’ll still have five of my most current things up there though. Also I just finished a Broken Social Scene poster and am rapidly making art prints.

Check out the online part http://review-magazine.org/find-a-copy/issues/visual-projects. Also, the design blog Well Medicated included my Caribou poster in their list of 50 Amazing Gig Posters Sure To Inspire. http://wellmedicated.com/inspiration/50-amazing-gig-posters-sure-to-inspire/ Thanks guys!

oooh hot damn! Time is flying. It’s Thanksgiving tomorrow, which means eat and sleep and not even think about work. So, there are a million (almost) new things up at www.neversleeping.com. I’ve got stuff hanging at the Ragtag Theater in Columbia, MO, and I’m trying to get rid of as many prints as possible because there are no surfaces left in my house to set drinks on. Seriously, EVERYTHING is covered in art of some kind. Bunches for sale at neversleeping.etsy.com. I’m going to try to do more illustration fridays, but who knows. I lie all the time about updating this thing, so for all YOU know I could be lying right now too. More soon.

This is a two color screenprint for the Abigail Henderson benefit show. The great thing about being an artist is that even if you are broke, there are still ways to give back a little. Best wishes to Abigail and her family.
First post in a while, but I’ve been making all new work for my art show at the Ragtag Theater in Columbia, MO. The opening will be Nov. 13th, so stop by and have a beer if you’re around. Lots more bigger posts after that is done. Also, a Wilco poster is on the horizon. I’m so excited about this one I can barely stand it.

One for The Silver Jews in Iowa City, it’s three colors and 18″ x 24″. Still pretty busy so posts are more infrequent, but will have a bunch of new work soon for my solo show at the Ragtag Theater, in Columbia, MO.

Too long between posts again, but I’m just trying not to drown in work over here. I finished this Stars poster a few days ago though. It’s 18″ x 24″ and three colors on super thick coverstock. There are about nine “art prints” of it without the text as well, and all will be for sale after the show. More to come, folks.

Oh man, I’ve been lazy with this lately. Only with this though, because I’ve been making so many things I haven’t even had three seconds of a break…not even to do Illustration Friday. So let’s get to it then. The big project was a Steddy P. EP called Virgo. He’s extremely talented, and trusted me enough to let me do whatever I wanted for this one…so I wanted it to be absolutely sick.

So there it is. Lots more to come, including posters for Stars, Ratatat, and The Silver Jews. I’m also slooooowly completing my first zine (screen printing all the pages individually takes quite a while) which will be done in the next month or so. Check back for more frenquent updates, I promise.

This is a screen print I did about a year ago, but I haven’t posted it anywhere. Fits nicely for the topic “detach” if I do say so myself. These are available to purchase here. Enjoy!

For Illustration Friday, subject is “sail.” Sometimes I feel like the little guy in the boat, and every once in a while I feel like the monster.

It has been a crazy two weeks, yet I still feel as if I don’t have much to show for it. BUT…there is a new poster at least. And there will be one for Ratatat in a couple of days.
Thao and the Get Down Stay Down. Four colors (including sparkley red) screen printed on 80lb. cream cover stock, edition of 130. I know you all are thinking “where can I pick up this beauty? I want to hang it on my wall or use it as a place mat or give it to a friend or rip it to pieces.” In that case, check out the store.
